Beverley Fortnum
Creative Director & Director
Beverley made her name in advertising as an award-winning Creative Director in some of London’s top global agencies, including Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Leo Burnett.
With a degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, her obsession for ideas, visuals and detail culminated in her first D&AD and a succession of awards followed.
Her list of big name brands include Pantene, Hugo Boss, Renault, The Guardian and Olay.
Whilst at Saatchi’s, she created the hugely successful ‘7 Signs of Aging’ campaign for Olay; the most effective Health & Beauty launch for P&G ever, and which many have tried to emulate since.
Her creative vision and understanding of the industry, has resulted in numerous successful advertising campaigns and the rejuvenation of some major international brands, establishing her as one of a small elite of true beauty, fashion and lifestyle specialists.
In addition to her creative skills she pursued her natural talent and passion for directing, and has since directed commercials for superbrands including Dove, Max Factor, Clairol, Lynx, Next, Olay and Nivea.
Beverley’s creative company ‘birth’ was born in 2009, where she works closely and direct with her clients on the entire creative process… from conception to delivery.
She is a strategic thinker and works across all media. Her recent and successful collaboration with retailer Next, combined her talents as both Creative and Director, and helped re-establish them as one of the UK’s leading fashion high street retailers.
Her work has proven that she not only produces insightful and inspiring creative work, but she also directs beautiful visuals and natural performances, combined with clear story telling, which inspires and elevates the brand.
